You will notice that there are some changes taking place in the gym. Over the coming days some new machines, motivational graphics and a new functional training area will be added into the gym floor area to improve your training experience. The changes are designed to motivate and challenge you to try new methods of training and shake up your routine. The changes should be complete by Friday 10th August, there may be areas of the gym closed for short periods of time while the new equipment is brought in.

Some of the new equipment you can expect to see on the floor include:

2 x S-Force Performance Machines:

This Cross Trainer/Stepper hybrid is a designed to give you a killer workout and work your Glutes.

This machine allows you to simulate running motions without the adverse impact that usually accompanies traditional running. That means, all the benefits of running without putting pressure on the feet and knees, allowing you to train as hard as you want without incurring physical damage.

2 x Airdynes
These bikes require the use of both the pedals and push and pull handlebars to power the machine. This provides an intense workout similar to the treadmill or stairclimber.

If you attend FX30 classes you may be familiar with this machine. A combination between a resistance treadmill and a sled this machine will drive you to your max capacity.
