Over the July school holidays, our Swish Camp ran at Hurstville Aquatic Leisure Centre, below we have a recap from our Coach Ryan on how they went:
“I would just like to say how well our Swish camp ran over the two weeks! We had a lot of new faces turn up which is always great to see as well as all our returning Swish players.
I’m proud to say that the camps were a major success and we couldn’t have done it without the students and the coaches. Everyone participated in the drills and games we had and most importantly, all the kids had a smile on their faces which was awesome to see.
All the fundamental skills we taught was a small taste of what our Swish program is all about. We encourage the kids to learn the fundamentals of basketball while having fun at the same time and both of those were ticked off over the two weeks.
I hope to see you all again back at our Swish program. I’m looking forward to seeing the next generation of Swish Basketball!”
