Spooky season is creeping in, and we're diving into the Halloween spirit! During Halloween week, keep an eye out for eerie cobwebs, ghostly decorations and maybe even a costumed staff member or two! Pumpkin Spice Protein Smoothie (1 Serving)

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk (or preferred milk)
  • Β½ cup pumpkin purΓ©e
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
  • Β½ frozen banana
  • 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
  • Β½ tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp maple syrup or honey (optional)
  • A handful of ice

Instructions:

  1. Blend all ingredients until smooth.
  2. Taste and adjust sweetness/spice.
  3. Pour into a festive glass, add toppings, and enjoy!

Optional Toppings:

  • Whipped cream (dairy or coconut)
  • Sprinkle of cinnamon or nutmeg
  • Crushed graham cracker or granola

Spooky Boosts:

  • Add chia or flax for fibre
  • Use chocolate protein for a β€œpumpkin-chocolate” twist
  • Mix in black cocoa or food-grade charcoal for a dark Halloween hue
