At Hurstville Aquatic Centre, we were proud to partner with Asian Women at Work and Royal Life Saving group to deliver a successful Learn To Swim program.
This program was focused on teaching vital swimming and water safety skills to individuals with limited experience both in and around water.
This program is designed with Asian migrants in mind, and is led by BlueFit Swimming instructors. This was conducted over several weeks, and introduced the fundamentals of swimming and survival skills and run in a safe environment to ensure the participants confidence had a chance to develop.
Instructors and participants alike agreed that this session was enjoyable and successful and an event was later hosted at the Asian Women at Work head office, to celebrate the success of the program and recognise achievements for participants!
