Celebrating Refugee Week 2025: "Finding Freedom: Diversity in Community"

From 15th to 21st of June, we join communities across Australia in recongising Refugee Week 2025, embracing the theme "Finding Freedom: Diversity in Community".

This week is an opportunity to honour the resilience and contributions of refugees, and to reflect on the strength found in our diverse communities.

DID YOU KNOW?

👉 A refugee is someone forced to flee their home due to war, conflict, persecution, or environmental disasters, often needing international protection.

👉 Over 25 million refugees (two-thirds globally) have been displaced from their homes for over five years.

Why It Matters to Us

Gyms and aquatic centres are more than just places for physical activity they're hubs where individuals from all walks of life come together. By participating in Refugee Week, we reaffirm our commitment to inclusivity, wellness, and community support.
