Please be aware that the Hurstville Aquatic Leisure Centre and Norm O'Neill Cricket Training Facility will be temporarily closed on the morning of Wednesday 1st July 2026.
Here is everything you need to know about the closure:
- Why: Ausgrid is performing planned maintenance, which requires the power to be turned off. To ensure the safety of our patrons and team, the facilities will be closed until power is restored and all areas are safe for usage.
- When: The facilities will be closed from 5:30 AM to 2:00 PM on Wednesday 1st July 2026.
- Reopening: The centres will reopen to the public at 2:00 PM the same day.
What activities are cancelled?
Because the power will be out, all morning activities and bookings before 2:00 PM are impacted. Please see a list below of activities that may affect you:
- Learn to Swim: All morning lessons will be cancelled. All impacted Learn to Swim and Squad lessons will not be charged during this period.
- Swimming & Wellness : All pools, spas, sauna and steam room facilities will be closed.
- Stadium: The stadium will be closed during this time.
- Creche: The creche will be closed during this time
- Cricket: The Cricket Training Facility will be closed during this time.
- Health Club: All morning group fitness and aqua classes are cancelled.
Please note: If you are a Health Club member, don’t forget to utilise your reciprocal access to Sans Souci Leisure Centre. Check out lane availability, facility offerings, and classes here.
